$10 or so for random screen protectors on Amazon if that worried about scratching the glass. I destroyed many of them over years with my Forerunner, and the actual watch glass is still perfectly fine. 🤷 ♂️

I actually have a matte film on my sapphire epix because I'm weird and I like matte displays.

Yea. I've ordered stuff from them for years. They are like a close out site for bike parts

Chatted with both Best Buy and target. Neither will price match this website.

I've ordered several times from them, bike jerseys, socks, Koo sunglasses (check out their prices), etc... Received everything I ordered promptly. Returns are wonky with the texting thing, but they did get back to me for a jersey that was too small.

Thanks for the info.

The flashlight is awesome. It takes up the top part of the watch and is bright. I would say its about the same as a phones flashlight but is adjustable and has a red light option. 2 taps of a button and that thing turns on and I have a light anytime. Some common uses for me include walking pet at night, handy work (under drawers, sump pump, etc), not waking up wife while getting out of bed, camping, etc. So many uses once you realize you have a quickly accessible light anytime.

Any idea what the dimensions are? 42mm, 47mm, or 51mm?
This one is 47mm.

Off topic, but what'd you think of the Koo glasses? The discount keeps tempting me, but it's hard to find pictures of someone actually wearing them for many of the models Bike Closet has.

Been wearing a 955 since it launched that is just the gorilla glass, fishing, backpacking, scrambling in the mountains, and obviously running. Maybe I'm lucky but I've never gotten a scratch on the thing, no screen protector either.
People that say you have to have Sapphire are nuts. I've had a couple of basic Fenix models over the years and have had zero problem with scratches. Buy a dang screen protector if you are worried. $200 premium for Sapphire? Not slick at all.

It's legit. I just recently ordered a Selle Italia sp-01 boost to saddle for my bike for $80. It was considerably cheaper than other online stores including Amazon and eBay, even used.

I was like you also and was very skeptical but some googling around and you'll find other happy customers. I too am one as I gave them a try. I live in the same state as they are in so I got it shipped very quick. I believe I ordered on a Friday and got it the following Monday. Was brand new in original package, which is just an attached piece of printed cardboard and tags.

Of course I used PayPal for double protection which would give me the protection from my bank and PayPal on top as well.

The only thing I didn't like was that shipping was $10. The saddle was a great price at $80 but at $90 with shipping wasn't such a great deal, still a deal though but looking forward, I think if you make a purchase with them, buy multiple items to squeeze out more value out of their shipping fee.

The shipping fee does kill it for the lower priced items though. I've seen some interesting deals on their Koo glasses, never heard of that brand but it's Italian and MSRP is ridiculous so $20 our $30 for a pair sounds tempting however add $10 to the mix and all of a sudden not so tempting.

Sapphire version's storage is 32G while the normal version is 16G. You will find the extra 16G is very helpful!

I mentioned this in the original post but I guess that got replaced when it went front page. Frown

I've had both and personally found the extra storage most worth it when it came time to update the maps; On the 16GB I had to basically remove everything manually for there to be enough free storage for the updates to install. I don't travel internationally much, though, and don't store music or anything on the watch so apart from that, the extra storage of the Sapphire hasn't really been a huge benefit personally.

You can save some space by removing normally non-removable golf maps if you plug it in to your computer and find/delete those files... It was like 3GB if I remember correctly? Crazy they still force that on you. I have never played golf and have no plans to, please let me opt out. 😅

The shipping is $10 total, not $10 per item. That is why I always throw in a pair or two of their $7.99 Castelli socks or some other cheap goodies when I order. I always order multiple items to defray the $10 total shipping cost.

I wear Oakley Jawbreakers with photochromic lenses for cycling, I just bought the Koo's as a spare to have around. I have really only tried them on indoors, not worn them outside. The Koo Open Medium I really liked the look of and the tint of the lens was lighter, which I like. The Koo Orion I did not like as much and they have a darker tinted lens. The Koo Open Medium comes in a case with both a tinted and a clear lens, which was a pleasant surprise.

I was able to find some reviews of Koo sunglasses online, they seem to be fairly highly rated.

We marketing peeps in the great Silicone Valley are somewhat proud of products with that sensual feel.

But customer feedback's been nit-picky on wanting functionality, so if we can trade our silicone soft wares with your band's silicon hard-wearing, I'm thinking paradigm-shifting win-win.

I have bought a few MIPS helmets from this website and while the website looks like a high school project, the support is awesome. I replaced a MIPS helmet after a month of use when I decided it was not the one I wanted.

I wear a Garmin Fenix 7x since I have big hands and am outside when not working and the 7x gives me 15 days on average between charges easily. This is with constant HR, SPO2, temp and compass.
