Whats the difference between this and the original? I see the original that comes with all components is selling for $140
I have both versions and find I don't use the extra stuff. The built in rechargeable battery, adjustable tension triggers and joysticks, and grip is worth it for me on the core version.

The components are the only difference. Add the component pack for $60 and it's more expensive than the full Series 2. The back paddles and swappable sticks, etc are what makes the Elite controllers worthwhile. Without them, this is just a standard Xbox controller with adjustable triggers. These were always overpriced. This price is closer to what it should've costed from the beginning. When you factor in the price of the components and case with charging dock, these shouldn't cost more that $80-90.

This is just the controller. I usually only recommend this for those that already have the accessories or those that want to get 3rd party accessories for it.
Buy the warranty, the LB/RB tend to stick and I've warranted mine 3 times in a year now, other than that it's great to use
Stick drift is a B#tch too. Face buttons are a bit tight and don't always register light inputs when brand new but that clears itself up after about a week of use. Can speed up the process by clicking them in/spamming them a ton initially.

This still gives u the option to interchange them tho vs a regular controller
I wish they had paddles, but I think you can get some generic ones for like $10 on Amazon or cheaper on AliExpress (~$5). I have no idea as the quality of the paddles are though.

Sure do wish Microsoft would actually release a decent controller that's not made to break 😔
