!!!DO NOT BUY THIS WITHOUT A WARRANTY!!!

Spend the extra $$$ and get a warranty for 2 -3 years. Microsoft quality control on their gamepads is not great and have planned obsolescence. Unless they introduce hall-sensor joysticks, always get a warranty.
Agreed. These controllers are well known to have unresponsive buttons, would seriously avoid. Having a warranty is ok but more of a headache than anything to deal with.
Agree. Love these controllers for the long battery life but I had to get warranty service in less than a year for the rb button that was not responding.

Check your AmEx offers. I had a $15 off $90 with Microsoft, added the warranty to reach the minimum.

Good deal! I know people were saying "hold out for the new xbox controller" but that one still wont have RGB lights you can change, trigger stops, back paddles. I don't think the durability of this controller is much of an issue unless you are a hardcore gamer who plays for hours every day, even then you can just use the warranty if a button jams on you. Cop this and then buy some cheap back paddles for it and you are golden with a pro controller.
This makes no sense. Why would you buy a high end controller if you weren't going to use it a lot. This is marketed to "hard-core" gamers and it has tons of durability problems.

Wouldn't tax have triggered the $90?
