It seems the three year burn in warranty will not apply unless directly purchased from dell. Conflicting info in the reviews and Q&A.

Seems they don't allow you to use the CC code for this sale. I tried the other day when it dropped to $899 and it worked then

Amazing monitor. I paid full price for it and don't regret it. I would have regretted buying the gsync version though. After the latest firmware that fixed the HDR issues in HDR 1000, it is perfect for me.

I was able to get mine for $445 from Best Buy through an incredible series of events: Back in August it was on sale for $900, but an Open Box-Excellent unit was $775. Had $165 in RZ certs so it'd be $610+tax. Monitor arrives and someone had returned it with their DW inside and no one caught the switcheroo or that the monitor was white instead of black.

Took it back to my local store and they asked if I'd accept a NEW one for the same price if I drove a half-hour one-way to get it. Duh! But then for some reason they refunded the RZ credit again (wasn't gonna ask) so I ended up getting a new unit for $445+tax. That was nice. Helped pay for the $90 mounting pole I had to buy to stack my old monitor above the new one [imgur.com].

Was able to buy it new one for $699 + 10% urlhasbeenblocked. Not including tax. Had to jump thru few hoops but happy with purchase.
