last basic ipads with headphones, if you are buying it for a child on airplane for example... might take it into consideration

Considering this iPad is still current I wouldn't expect it to drop below the $250 threshold. The other iPads as well. The only time you'll see steep discounts are on closeouts. So unless you see apple stop selling a certain model don't expect steep discounts.

The best time to buy is at release. There will be some discount and you'll get use of it for its full life cycle.

229…. If you pay attention to the Meijer deal tomorrow I think its 329-80 grocery cash -20 Santa Bucks -10 off 100. If it all works out it comes to 229! I did it like 2 years ago but you may have to find a meijer with them in stock and find out what time they start selling electronics. Get your Santa bucks the day before… Have fun! Yes confirmed got 2 this morning at 6 am. Don't login perks if you're buying more than one, then log them in later, but make sure you coupons print out or they give out a customer service credit meijer card….
