Their product lines and compatibility with homebase are so confusing. Hard to understand easily which products work with one another.

Do the newer versions of Homebase sometimes not work with old products? Or is it more some products only work with newer versions?

I bought this and installed it last week. Bought it "Used - Like New." So far it's been pretty good. Added Door Armor around it. Only issue is you need to make sure the door is shut all the way, otherwise auto lock jams. Otherwise I think it's picked up every event with no false positives yet, unlike my Blink did. I like the eufy setup so far, have 3 total devices. I know there were security concerns but is rather have that than Amazon turning over all my video data

I've got one of these and don't really have any complaints besides wishing it had a way to hook up to a an outlet power source. If put in a busy area you'll need to minimize recording range.

I replaced August 4th gen smart lock with Eufy in my airbnb unit and I couldn't be more happy battery-wise. I'm getting this for my condo since I have a RING camera and I don't want additional monthly payment just to review captured footage.
