LG OLED naming conventions are one of the easiest to understand.

It's a circle-jerk. Each year, in the early summer, LG will retail their latest and greatest TV with incremental changes. The big deal hunters will then go backwards and hope and pray they can get last year's model for cheap. They'll THEN see these threads and basically encourage everyone to do the same. It breeds more people waiting until April-June for the "best" deals. All the while, folks miss out on enjoyment of these TVs, as an OLED is truly beautiful.

This model will likely drop to about $1500 come May. If you aren't in the market, wait until May. That's the perfect sweet spot. For example, I got a 77'' G2 this year for $2600. I dare someone to act like that wasn't a slick deal. Just last month my local Sams had a 83'' C2 for $2000 in box. If I didn't get the G2, I'd gotten that. Both were VERY limited deals, to note.

I'm now though a person who hops into these threads just to alert folks that man...if you don't want the stress of hoping for a TV deal, take the "normal" sale and keep it moving.

Until it craps out like a year in. I went with lg after my samsung died and couldn't be happier. Warranty is absolutely essential with samsung as it's a very common thing for them nowadays

Guys: I bought a 65" C2 from Costco about 75 days ago. I am really debating returning and getting this 77" B3. Should I do it? anything to consider? Appreciate everyone's opinions!

Unless you are in a bright-ish room and the c3 is barely enough when sunny or if you have need of 3 or 4 hdmi 2.1 ports (or 2 hdmi 2.1 and an ARC), I would do the b3. The size will make a bigger difference than the quality of b3 vs c3. I have this tv and I love it!

Seems well debated in the other thread. Dolby Vision and HDR on LG TVs vs. HDR only on Samsung.
That's the main consideration? Whether it supports DV or HDR10+?

With the high-quality tone mapping on either set you're unlikely to see any difference between HDR10 and DV.

Wood you say the Cx has more vivid color than the Bx?

Umm, he said C7, right? That would be a 6 year old model at this point.

Purchased a Samsung for my in-laws and myself. Each lasted 2 years. Never again.

Ordered - going from a 65 inch CX to this. The CX has been incredible, anything I'm missing going to the B series? I just want something bigger. From what I've read i can't justify the price jump to a 77 inch C3.

This qualifies for Costco spend and get $400 digital cash card if you spend $2500. Just don't know how it works.

Would need to find a $501 filler to qualify for a $400 Costco e-giftcard via email. Such e-giftcard can prob be converted to physical at any store or for gas.

Or if you can buy 2 and split the $500 benefit ($100 discount plus $400 GC), averaging unit cost down to $1750 lol

The $2500 requirement is pretax to get the $400 GC. Unfortunately does not work on C3
