Venator just came out and the Razor Crest is due to retire next year. Personally, I'd go with the crest since it's on sale now.

(I also want both, but will hold off on Venator for now)

It's hard to say.. in our last economic turn down 2008, there were a lot of Lego deals to be found, as people chose NEEDS over WANTS. .. we are definitely seeing some lower prices this year compared to the last couple of years. That is for sure.
