On the minus side, I was turned off by the author's apparent attitude of self-importance throughout the book. Examples: "Welcome to Behavioral Design ! This is my comprehensive system..... My early work in Behavioral Design helped innovators create products and millions of people use every day."
" I had to learn how to create habits in my own life.... I accumulated dozens of new habits - mostly tiny ones - they combined to create a transformation." became a proven method called Tiny Habits."
However, making incremental changes is an idea that has been around for a long time. It was the technique referred to in the classic comedy "What About Bob" which aired over 30 years ago. The author even used the words "Baby Steps" in his book. Calling an idea by a new name doesn't make it new.
Another example is his technique called the Fogg Behavioral Model (named after himself). To make this sound unique and scientific, he presents a graph of the Model, using an Action LIne between Motivation and Ability, and uses the graph to show whether a behavior will change or not. The same idea could have been explained much more clearly in common English.

It's more the other way around. BJ Fogg is the OG. He's a professor at Stanford and has been working on the psychology of habits for years. James Clear and Atomic Habit are both awesome too.
