    FYI, according to the product page it will not read ABS or SRS codes.

    Have this and it is simple and durable. I keep it in my glovebox all year round. Won't tell you all issues or pin point certain complex issues BUT I have used to to clear codes for "very small evap leak" and diagnosed bad spark plug and failed fuel pump. Also have used it to provide codes and general descriptions to my mechanic. If you have this it can help you have a general idea of what is wrong and can help you be somewhat knowledgeable when dealing with a mechanic so you are less likely to be taken advantage of.

    Yeah If you don't want to just replace the filter you can try and blow air thru the 2 hoses and thru the filter 2 inlets to free up whatever is clogged inside. That can fix the issue as well. good luck with it.

    You'll just have to search for an OBD scanner that reads SRS & ABS codes (sometimes called an "advanced" scanner). I bought a Launch CR629 a few months ago when it was on sale for $68.

    UPDATE doesn't look like it can, need an advanced model for such a task. I'll stick to doing it the manual way

    They cloned an early and buggy version. Later releases that fixed the bugs and added functionality had copy protection and were not clonable. So all the cheap ones are pretty gimped and buggy, not something I'd choose to use on my vehicles.
