brown = silent & tactile
red = silent & linear (no tactile feedback)
it's all personal preference. some people like the sound of the blue switches, while others can't stand it. as for browns/reds, the noise mainly comes from how hard you smash each key. if you really need to mitigate that as well, then find a keyboard where you can install O rings.
