In my experience, the deals leading up to Black Friday are better than the ones actually on Black Friday.

DO NOT choose pickup from Best Buy or the Samsung store if you want to keep the 100 day trial period. I found this out the hard way. If you do any sort of pickup instead of delivery you have the normal 15 day return policy.

I have the 990b in my basement and it is really an incredible soundbar.

Have an Arc upstairs (no sub/rears - wife approved) and it is also a killer bar.

For this price - it's an absolute no-brainer to go with the 990c over the Arc. A similar specced Sonos setup crosses 2k easily.

There shouldn't be any issues barring some funny vpn or similar issues but some devices don't play well when they are on different frequencies on same network for whatever reason.

Yes this sound bar can connect to my Samsung QN90A TV via wifi and also do Qsymphony but it has to be on the same 5 Ghz or 2.4 Ghz band for it to work. I just gave up and hooked up my old optical TOSLINK cable and that also support Qsymphony so that works decent for now until I run a dedicated HDMI cable for sound behind the wall in order to unlock Dolby Atmos. Dolby Atmos only works via HDMI connection.

Samsung price matched me based on this deal, and ask me to place order and refund will be processed when order shipped.

Now they completely denied my refund, and offering me 5%. I paid 1549$ based one the promise of refund.

I opened a False advertising case with FTC, not sure if it will help but if anybody else dealing with same please report, hopefully FTC will have enough data points

Any ideas if this deal will come back? Also does anyone know if the rear speakers are completely wireless on the Q990C or are they wired to a kit like on the Q910C? thanks

It's $979 right now. Rear speakers are truly wireless except for power cords (which I understand are pretty short.)

Thank you for the chime in and good to know they are wireless. On a side note, I noticed that if you order these with a TV such as 65" S95B, price goes down to $769.99 which isn't bad at all.

I may pull the trigger on both, just not sure what happens if I return the TV, I guess I get to keep the soundbar for 770 but I am not sure.
