Agreed, I rolled the dice when this was posted a month ago, received two units via UPS; one of them had tears across the outer cardboard, but the inner items were all intact and undamaged.


Biggest item to damage on these would be the particleboards. The frame itself is pretty rigid and solid.

Are use these as fish tank stands for many years. The trick is to get a custom 24X 48 tank made so that the rim of the tank sits above the steel rim.

I also replaced the particleboard with three-quarter inch plywood, marine plywood if you can afford it or paint it

One Morhac is to put silicone on the little connections as you install the shelving. It protects the metal connections from getting rusty and deteriorating over time.

Got 4 of these in the basement. The 24" depth ones are the way to go. One came without the joining brackets for the uprights (from a torn box). Probably could have just messaged them to get new ones, but I just put a shelf there to act as the union.

Unless you are in desperate need I would hold off for the Costco Whalen heavy duty racks. i believe they go on sale for around $120. Excellent deal and extremely sturdy racks.
