These are usually 20-25 depending where you buy them, but I'd highly recommend one if you're looking for a super easy houseplant. On par with snake plants imo with how easy they are to take care of (and how forgiving they are if you forget for a bit...).
Yes, they contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals which can cause irritation when ingested. However, they are not toxic in the sense that they would cause serious permanent illness or death. Many common houseplants contain these crystals, such as peace lily, calla lily, golden pothos, snake plant, fiddle leaf fig, umbrella tree, elephant's ear, monstera, etc.
There are houseplants more toxic than the above such as lilies, daffodils, jade plant, sago palm, aloe. You should avoid these if you have young children or pets.
Mildly toxic, and generally considered safe, because attempting to chew it results in immediate pain that dissuades consumption. YMMV. I'd be most concerned about the kind of large dog that ignores pain when it gets excited and would devour a porcupine if given the chance.

Yep, when in doubt, err on the side of underwatering. They can live in pretty low-light conditions, too, although they won't usually grow in such conditions.

This is a really good deal for the "Raven" variety, I have a regular ZZ that I got from IKEA a couple of years ago. It quickly outgrew its pot and when I went to repot it I discovered that it was actually 3 separate plants. I gave one to a friend and kept two. They are doing very well and have gotten quite large. I've been eyeing the Raven for a while and may just go for it.

AIR-PURIFYING: In addition to its aesthetic appeal, Raven ZZ is a live indoor plant that helps improve indoor air quality by filtering toxins and producing oxygen, promoting a healthier living environment
GIFT APPEAL: Due to its smaller size, ease of care, and aesthetics, Raven ZZ plant makes a thoughtful and memorable gift for friends, family, and co-workers, adding a touch of greenery to their home decor

If you read the article you linked, it dispels the 'poisonous' label stating it is actually an irritant. The offending "chemical" is calcium oxalate, a relatively harmless crystalline substance that irritates the skin or mouth if ingested. Certainly nothing to lose sleep over. I have these in my home and they are a delight. Lots of pets and kids, no issues.
