just my 2 cents- this bench is wobbly. One pin is holding up the back- there's no way it can handle 400 pounds. The assembly wasn't bad though. I bought this at Aldi's last year and would not buy again.

I have the Platinum Olympic Weight Set and can attest it's wobbly as F. It's basically a thin piece of metal through a slot, with the opening being almost twice the thickness of the metal piece. Even shimming it up, it's still wobbly as F. Wobbly As F

I was really sketched out by some of the one-star Weider reviews... you know something is wrong with the Weider bench when people say it takes two hours (and axle grease) to assemble...

Yagud bench took maybe 20 minutes to assemble and has 1 year warranty, versus 90 days warranty of Weider bench.

But to be fair, I don't believe Yagud bench could handle 810 pounds and more than I believe Weider bench can handle 410 pounds.
That thing is fairly short at 44 inches..is that long enough for a 6ft male when it's flat?

It's designed such that any sideways movement cause the backrest to move, so it's not stable with any movement. For lifting weights, you need a stable bench, which this is designed not to be. This is a hazard when used with ANY weight. You can stand on it and practice your balance when it sways sideways, that's all it's good for.

If you want to have a "workout equipment" in your home just for people to think you're working out, then this is fine. But if you actually use it to work out, it's going to cause accidents.

I'm 5'6 and after measuring spacing between the top of my head and the edge of the bench, I would not buy the yagud bench if I was 6ft
