This appears to only have a 128 GB SSD drive, not 256 GB. This one has a 256 GB SSD, but for $199: https://www.microcenter.com/produ...tinum-grey

This is a really useful laptop for light multitasking when you reinstall windows to remove all the bloatware. Display is absolute crap as soon as you look at from any side. So this should be more for like your grandparents or parents who don't really care about that. It's all plastic, but that's to expect.

I'm pretty sure, this is wrong:
8GB (4GB Soldered DDR4-2666 + 4GB SO-DIMM DDR4-2666) RAM; Up to 12GB

Most of the newer laptops can take upto 32GB RAM module, so you can expand the RAM upto 36GB

Great little laptop for car diagnostics, travelling, or just anything that needs a cheap computer.

Unfortunately, upgrading the nvme will cost more than with 2280 m.2 drives.

Great deal especially the 256gb version - I do wish there was a Chromebook version of the same build though...

Probably not. Only one memory slot is available, the other one is always 4GB (soldered). If you put an 8GB on the open, you can get 12GB. You may be able to put 16GB, and get it to 20.

I meant that you can use the 32GB RAM module in one open slot to increase the RAM to 36GB max.

For that price it's better to get a used T480

should also consider dell refurbed. The dell refurb are better built with much better ips screen and many also have two sodimm slots and backlit keys and more features like usb-c full features.

Here's the current deal for around $200 for dell 7300: https://www.dellrefurbished.com/laptops
See the coupon code at top of the page. Solid laptop!

The better deal was the Dell Inspiron 5310 (Refurbished) for $225. I just picked it up but have this same laptop I use it for work when traveling. The screen has terrible viewing angles but the laptop is pretty snappy for business related tasks.

I also got the dell 5310. I am surprised that you find the screen has terrible viewing angle. I thought the 5310 screen has pretty decent color rendering.

Hmm, the code only took off my $15 shipping costs, didn't give 50% off of laptop.
