Can you describe a good alternative in detail? I don't disagree with what you're getting at regarding nonstick coatings, plastics etc, but would love to see some alternative suggestions instead of just crapping on the deal post
I have the similar model Bella 90124 that I bought for $30 on a deal about 3 years ago. It has become one of my most used kitchen appliances, and I don't know how I ever got by without it.

I line the bottom in aluminum foil every time and that makes for easy cleanup between uses.

One of my favorite dishes from this appliance:

Line cooking pan with aluminum foil. Coat 2 medium thickness pork chops moderately with Tony's Creole seasoning. Lay them in the bottom side by side and cook at 325F for 20 minutes. Then flip them over and cook for an additional 15-18 minutes. Yields delicious broiled pork chops with very little effort. Subtract 2-3 minutes from cook times stated if chops aren't frozen. Mine go in directly from the freezer with no thawing needed. Just rinse them in the sink to make the seasoning stick.
Bought one a couple months ago when it was a DOTD for $20, love it, ordered a spare for this price. Great size, easy to clean, fast warmup, heating element ON light, temperature readings could be a bit easier to read.
Thanks OP.

Where to get a spare tray? That is the one that fails for me most of the time (peeling, sticking).

These analog air fryers are the best to get tech-adverse or older adults into air frying. The controls are simple and easy to understand - nothing complicated to figure out. Using an air fryer has been a game changer for me. If anyone is hesitant to give air frying a try now is the time. Can't beat this price.

I have a smoke alarm 6-8 feet away from mine, and it will occasionally go off, but only if I'm cooking at 375 degrees or higher.

The cooking surface is PFOA free but that's per some Chinese quality control, so if we put aluminum foil in top of that non-stick surface and then put our food on top of that, does that seem like a decent option?

Secondly, the plastics around the perimeter shell of the unit, I wouldn't expect that to affect the food, am I wrong?

Thanks for your insight on those two questions above
