Reading reviews from 2021-2023 for the Lifestyle Tropical Dominican all-inclusive should be enough to encourage people to avoid. If you're going to make the effort to fly all the way down there, I'd be damn sure not to pick a dumpster fire of a resort to stay at and have to deal with Groupon middle-manning when nothing goes as expected.

My resort in punta Cana was very nice.

You get what you pay for. Sadly, people that chase these deals will learn the hard way.
Even if you gave me a week, free, in these places, I wouldn't go. Not worth the time or plane ticket to get there for cheap food and drinks.
Yeah it's great actually. You obviously won't be going swimming unless you're somewhere with an indoor heated pool- but all the restaurants and activities with none of the lines.
Typically a light jacket is a good idea.
Groupon Getaways is a big scam. They mark up the 'regular' price per night and then 'discount' it back to their regular rate minus a few dollars. I've used Groupon for Costa Rica and Ireland in the past, and only after the trip did my friends and I realize we were duped into using their service when we could've easily found better prices on the internet.
I am a quick drive away from Destin and do enjoy taking advantage of a cheap room during the early spring and fall. Also the restaurants tend to not price gauge you as much during the off season to encourage locals to patronize. However, the appeal of the area is the sun and sand and you don't get those warm Florida weather beach vibes. If you want that keep moving down and avoid the panhandle. However, if you want to go shopping, dining, some cool walks on the beach, and enjoy the picturesque scenery then it is a fun atmosphere for that in Mid November. That being said NOW is the time to visit. The weather is in the 70s and rooms are cheap. Also, the pools and beaches are still open. If you can make it down over the next two weeks it is my favorite time to be in Destin.
