Best Buy messed up the product weight. It is around 5.2 lbs from HP sites as well as the review of the exact model by AMDTech YouTube Channel. The weight for this model is 5.318 lbs. I think that 5.91 lbs weight is including the 200W Charger.

Got an openbox one for ~$1100 last time and returned it the next day. Pile of turd.

1. Two M.2 slots but only the first one have heat spreader and screw. You need to hunt down a screw for the 2nd slot even if you don't care about heat spreader

2. Gimped 13900H. A lot lower Cinebench R23 score than 12700H

3. No USB-C charging while laptop is on. Only charging when laptop is off. Brilliant

4. No battery cap setting possible. Battery will always charging at 100% when plugged in

5. White letters on silver keyboard

6. It's the weight of a gaming laptop but the performance of a 3.5 lb. thin-and-light

This is GARBAGE! I purchased two for $800 and returned. The i9 in it are locked into 30w and 50-55w. CB23~7000 and 10000. So garbage!

I've 2 HP silver colors w/silver keyboards. I agree, they are horrible, hard to see the key lettering. I would not get another even if it was free.

It's 2 - DDR5 8GB's, both replaceable max of 64GB - 32x2. Another thing noticed, even though there are 2 available nvme slots(1 in use), there are no RST/RAID capabilities in the BIOS.

I like mine. Upgraded the RAM to 64GB and added a second SSD for my Steam library. Works great for Unity gamedev, light AI work, Starfield/BG3, and the battery isn't terrible for basic office things when traveling.

Careful, I bricked 2 of these from best buy, the GPUs on them are permanently dead. Hopefully they don't open box them because with integrated graphics still working you won't realize it until you try to game or use the HDMI port. Other than it nuking itself at night for reasons I couldn't figure out, this is a really incredible laptop. So good I was tempted to try it a third time

Same problem here. Even backlit, the keys are totally stealthed on an older HP Envy that we are looking to replace. Had forgotten this issue since that laptop is mostly used by another family member. Thanks for the reminder. We're going to take this one off the list!

i think it is a nice laptop, the deal breaker for me is that it does not charge on USB-C (only if the laptop is off or hibernating (not the same as sleeping)) , and then it has a monstrous barrel type charger.
