Brightness: 300 Nits

My only concern is that the $299.99 regular price seems low. There are lower resolution monitors with similar other specs priced higher. This usually indicates lower build quality in order to allow better specs at a lower price. The last 34" Acer Curved Monitor I purchased at Costco developed really bad coil whine after a few months to the point where I returned it.

Anyone have this monitor? Thoughts?
Low nit count, VA panel usually means this monitor is meant to be used in low light conditions. VA also may cause ghosting issues.

Acer is a low end brand but the Costco guarantee makes this a decent value overall. Thanks heavy wife.

Likewise. There aren't many issues with this monitor. It's wonderfully large, bright enough (it's not a premium model so don't expect it to be theater quality) and the curve is just right for office work and entertainment. In addition, it doesnt break the bank. It'd be hard to find this size of an ultra-wide monitor at this high of a refresh rate at this price.

Yes, it has VESA. Just remove the stand and you'll see the four screw holes. It's recessed though, so it won't work for larger mounting plates. You can ask a store associate to show you.

The stand is ONLY tilt adjustable by a few degrees. It DOES NOT rotate, pivot or height adjust. If you are mounting this onto an arm, then that shouldn't be an issue.

Acer used to be a low end brand. They seem to be producing products that are on par with other major manufacturers lately.

How does this compare to the Dell S3422DWG? The specs seem similar and this even has a higher refresh rate.
