Yeah, why pay $54 for this game when you can instead pay $399+ for a Steam Deck, steal the game, and run it with glitches and 3 hour battery life under emulation.
I understand "borrowing" older games that either can't be rereleased due to legal issues or even when put it behind a paywall service. Why are you publicly bragging about stealing a brand new game? I understand getting a good deal or pricing arror (spelled on purpose so I won't trip people's alerts). I got GTA 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 for free from Best Buy because of a gletch. Best Buy even sent an email saying they had cancelled the orders.

I pre-ordered from geek alliance and received it on Friday. After playing it for the past two days I would give this game a 7/10. It's beautiful and creative and really different. It focuses a lot on finding the "wonder seeds" and less on the courses in my opinion. A lot of story telling so you're skipping through a lot of dialogue. A lot of it is easier than usual, though does get really hard at times but it's more about mastering the "badges" in those hard courses. I don't love that half the courses are "challenges" or badge practice instead of normal courses. Keep in mind though I'm not even half way done, but I do enjoy it. But it doesn't beat Donkey Kong Country Freeze for me. I enjoy the true side scroller and traditional game structure of that one more. I do really like the online playing option for Mario Wonder though. It's kinda fun to see others playing along side you. I'm glad I bought it but I know it's probably not a game I'll be replaying after I finish it.
Edit: updating my rating to a solid 8.9 / 10 now that I've finished it. The second half picked up the pace and difficulty, while staying creative and beautiful. Deff going to replay it.
As someone who is practically allergic to platformers, i couldn't agree more.
You can feel the love and passion that went into this.. it's so thoughtfully developed and produced, it's a game with a vibrant personality. Good job on this Nintendo
why spend money when this game is free to play on the Steam Deck. stop supporting Nintendon't.

How is it compared to New Super Mario Brothers U Deluxe? I'm a big Mario fan and finally getting a Switch and wondering if I should even get that game or just get Wonder

Saw it in store today
Reputable retailer?
$47.99. That's 20% off which reminds me of the now-discontinued Gamer Club Unlocked membership from Best Buy years ago…dang that was a good run.
