Not necessarily. If you need a guitar strap you already own one. And it's one that you've chosen based on your tastes, not someone else's.
This is a decent deal, though. I personally didn't like any of the styles that were on sale.
I was looking for a hard guitar case on the cheap on amazon weahouse, offerup ect. Couldn't find one for cheap. Then on offerup saw a hard case and a squire strat for $120. Was ready to spend $80-100 on a case by that point so saw strat as $30. The 1990s strat squire played MUch better than I thought. Quite nice really.
Saw the prewired noiseless pickup/guard upgrade kit (found on high model stats) on slickdeals for 130 I think. why not.
It's a black strat with a brown turtleshell pickup guard. It's going the ugly direction.
Now I got this midnight paisley stap for $13. Th paisley has brownish and organish colors the pair with the turtleshell pickup guard, and has black edges that match the black guitar.
Suddenly, I have a pretty butch unique looking strat for that costed $175. Damit, now I need a a case.

You'll need a bottom strap pin installed, but that's with most straps on a ukulele. You'll also need a shoelace or something to tie it around the neck above the nut.
At the shortest length, it works if you do that.

I replaced all of mine -except for basses, with Ibanez POWERPAD Strap GSF50 Guitar (GSF50BK),Black. They are amazing.

No, no, no... Please don't listen to this. If there are guitarists on your Christmas list, don't buy them guitar straps. Buy them GUITARS. 😀
