The advantage to bins is that you can just take them out for project use. Much smaller footprint on a workbench or assembly table. However, when I'm organizing parts and hardware into them, I always end up with parts that don't fit and end up wasting space to some degree. Ace hardware typically has these on sale for a bit cheaper $6-7 historically.

They are ok for the money, and very customizable when you mix and match the moveable bins of multiple cases. That is where the positives end.

The bins are molded in a way so they bow in slightly on the longer sides. The lids become warped overtime and have molding designed to keep the bins in place. Once the lid starts to warp along with the bowing of the removable bins, the lid never sits flush when closed and allows parts to move around easily. The front snaps are acceptable if you pick a good case, but I have some where the snaps don't close smoothly.

I have the craftsman version of these Stanleys. I like these a lot and will order a few more. They should be compatible with the craftsman but in a different color.

The center of the Stanley looks to be hard modeled in with dividers on the outside. The Dewalt has movable bins of different sizes that can be rearranged and removed.
