I would spring for the 3 gallon, 1 gallon will get filled up very quickly for most of those projects, which will affect performance.

I would even spring for the 4.75 gallon stainless steel one - this one actually costs less than the bare one and includes spare filters: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../324714865
The stainless one eats batteries. Mine lasts about 5 minutes with a 4AH. Wonder if the smaller one lasts longer.

How is the noise compared to the 3 gal one? The only downside of the 3 gal is it is noisy.

What's the runtime with 2ah battery? Is 4ah required?

Can she go from suck to blow?

I currently have a 16 gallon Ridgid but would love to downsize but want to keep that feature.
Yes, it has BLOW PORT too. That is one of the reason I brought one. The 3 gallons doesn't has blow port like this 1 gallon.

How does the suction of this compared to the older 3 gallon. Considering getting this as more of a side grade but save on space.

Can anyone compare this to the Milwaukee M12 vac? I got it as a present after reading reviews that it's light and quieter than average, but you have to open it to get the hose out and the M12 battery (I think I have a 5ah in mine) doesn't last long so I find it's only useful for things I spill in my trunk, or don't want to vacuum up with our dyson. Everything else I just use my full size shop vac, my Festool dust collector, or my full shop dust collection system (I'm addicted). The hose is also too short. I'd gladly sell it and pocket the profits if this Ryobi would work for me. I have far more Ryobi 18v batteries.

In the Q&A it says 45 CFM. This is the same as the 3 gal.
