Can this be used as a light duty dust collector from power tools? Does the hose fit the port?

Nice deal, I picked one up that I plan to mainly use for cleaning up from my 3D printer. I always seem to have plastic support pieces flying everywhere after each print is removed from the plate.

I have the older 3 gallon model and bought this on this deal. Picked it up an hour ago. This is really portable.

It will be perfect to use light duty power tools like circular saw, planer, or sander. Most of light duty power tools use 1-1/4 hose size, or they will included adapter for it.

I just got back from my local HD where I got the 3 gallon version for $49.97.

Had gone in looking for the 1 gallon, which the store showed as having 11 of in stock. However, turns out they didn't have any, but did have a couple of the 3 gallon. The manager was nice enough to adjust the price down from $99 to $49.97 for me.

Picked this up and used it to clean out my AC drain line after letting a little vinegar sit in the pipe for a bit. It worked great and filled it up a little more than half way with water. Sure beat lugging my 16 gallon wired vac outside. Both seemed to suck the same for this purpose. Military discount brought it down to $45. Thanks OP!

It most likely will not fit the port since they both have 1.25" ends. I was also looking for a good attachment to connect my ridgid auto vac hose and came across this. Others have used it for your purpose though.

My wonderful wife just got this for me, cuz I'm spoiled.... Or she probably wanted it as well. It's quickly becoming my new favorite 18v tool. Very well built, lightweight and ultra portable. Has just enough suction to do a decent job. And so far I'm seeing about 10mins of run time on a 4ah battery? Maybe I'm getting lucky there.

If you live near a Direct Tools Factory Outlet, "almost everything" is supposed to be 50% off In-Store tomorrow 10/31.

So factory blems should be $40.

I got one. Absolutely WRECKS spider webs outside all over my house. They never saw it coming. I made a lot of spider vendettas the day it arrived.

I noticed my wife is really lazy about cleaning out the dryer lint trap. This looks perfect for that.

also, for those who think this will be great for the car....it has a very very short hose. so maybe just for a quick clean up of a couple areas and that's it. just like the 3 gallon predecessor. you end up always stretching the hose
The replacement hose for the 3-gal. is part # 312712001 and I use it as an extension. It's $20 in this eBay listing [ebay.com], but it may be cheaper elsewhere, I didn't look. The only problem is that there's no place to coil it nicely on the vacuum. I'm guessing it also can work as an extension on the 1-gal. in this slickdeal.

Why can't rigid make 1 galon strong suction at least 100cfm. I hate the overhyped overpriced underpowered tool boxes. None have brushless motors.

Did it tell you the location and wasn't there? Did you ask for the manager, or did the associate? Just curious how these things happen.
