The milwaukee prices only match other retailers like amazon, etc after the HACK.
Good to know, thanks! I've never really considered Milwaukee due to my light DIY use (heavier than some folk for sure, but still, VERY light compared to my DIY craftsmans friends [full woodshops / multi bay home autoshops / multiple mill/lathe/cnc home machine shops, etc.]) and budget.

I hate this type of posting. It amounts to purposely abusing the intent of the seller. I have no great love for Home Depot, but when people do things like this, it just increases prices for everyone over time.

Go look at HD's margin. It's not -this- that does anything. It's corporate greed.

I picked up one of these Monday and cut down a few 1-1.5" shrubs. Works pretty good. I need to figure out an oiling solution though. I'm thinking a small hand pump oil can filled with the same bio oil I use in my chainsaws will be the ticket.

Ain't no more grease guns. This deal and the deal with the high torque impact wrench has sold out all the grease guns 😔. Now I'm gonna apply for the home Depot credit card for an extra $25 off.

Sold Out
Sold out for shipping but you can still check the page to see if there is local stock. Since you will be picking up from different stores anyway it doesnt matter if you select the one that is far far away as long as the pickup store for battery is the one nearby.

Corporate greed? Is that why so many companies have gone under Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)? It is called making a profit so a company does not go out of business.

hack? more like theft, haha. (at least for HD)
From a business standpoint, one has to convince the customer that they are stealing. How lame it would be if they say in the open here's a good deal for $37. I wouldn't feel special then. And on top of that there might be enough ppl to do it right.

Like progressive betting in casino. In the long run you lose money but the player believes they are beating the casinos. The art in business is making them believe they are cheating the system which is a well known psychological addiction ploy. They win because now they engaged the customer interaction.

You have a deep understanding of corporations. Apparently their purchasers, financial forecasts, inventory management systems and other logistical systems are all integrated to account for the fact that a relatively microscopic % of customers will go through the effort of doing this marketing "hack", thus making this " well known psychological addiction ploy" a good idea for them in the end.

Amazing.

Can I order for pick up, then cancel the other items I do not want? Or do they all need to be picked up and unwanted items returned?

Order for pick up, then immediately text customer service, and ask them to cancel the other items. I've done it 3x so far (1 order in first chat, 2 orders in second chat), no issues. Definitely give it a go! Also I set two different store pickup locations for the item I did want vs didn't want. I figured it'd be a good excuse for CS, but they didn't ask.

Ah, I meant something like this oiler: https://www.amazon.com/SHININGEYE...B07ZS7QX5P

I run Stihl Bio+ in all of my saws, I'm sure there are other economical options but my local hardware store is a Stihl dealer too, so they stock it. (And all my saws are Stihl, though once I get an electric that might change...No plans to buy an electric yet though, the gassers are extremely reliable, only need a few bucks in upkeep every couple of years [low use] and paid for many years ago.)
