These are nice shoes but I found them much too narrow and had to return fyi. Might want to try them on in store if you can.

If you an REI member and you tell them (take a few pics just to be sure) what happened, they will refund you on the spot! I'm sorry this happened to you! I haven't worn mine that long yet (it's winter here in the Midwest where I live) and really hope they won't give me any trouble. They felt great on the feet for the little bit I wore them on.

It might also be part of the wearing and breaking in process. Every pair of shoes goes through it and it's feet anatomy dependent also, though these walking shoes should not really cause that much of a problem from the start!

Fingers crossed but if they suck, back to REI they all go ( I bought several pairs for family members too lol)!. Price was right :-)
