You keep inferring this is real leather but it is not, it is faux (fake) leather.

This doesn't have the durability or feel of real leather. It more of a plasticy feel. It will start peeling well before real leather would. That said, faux leather is a fraction of the price of real leather. I can't imagine getting a real leather sofa under $1,000, even that is probably low balling it.

I stayed in a. AIR BNB with this sofa. It is the worst seating option I've ever experienced. Sleeping on it was obviously a nightmare, we were prepared for that, but the sitting was unbelievable. There were just hard protruding bars everywhere, with little to no padding, especially on the back. We ended up preferring to sit on the floor. Stay far away.

Yes I did the leather. I'm happy with it. I'm pretty short (5'5") and when I sit with my feet up across the chase they reach the end. The quality is ok, no rips or poor stitching. Came in two fridge sized boxes via fedex in like 5 days. For the price I have no complaints considering I was looking at used sectionals on marketplace which were still between 200-300 and not leather. Like I said, for a playroom for the kids it's fine. My kids are just going to destroy it anyway and at least the leather will clean easier.

FYI the couch is relatively small. I purchased for my small basement play room, 18'x'18', and it's just for the kids. So it's perfect for my use. I wouldn't recommend for your main living area. I was originally looking at the ikea one but it's a thousand dollars and cloth. This is the best leather I found.

In France, is "FAUX LEATHER" called "CUIR FAKE" or "CUIR FALSE"?

Maybe that sounds cool to customers in France who want a couch that looks and feels like leather, but it's NOT real leather?

The sofa's vinyl(aka "faux leather") is likely to be cracked and torn where it comes into contact with your buttom within a couple of years.

Was it same brand? Just curious becuase air B&B might have their crap beaten up pretty quickly. I am considering getting this from home depot for kids to use as game room furniture.
