So, less money by roughly $30 this round, but not worth it? I can only presume you mean since 7 months have passed, the price savings does not make up for depreciation. I have not run prices from other sources.
I think the poster is complaining that you used to be able to get it with the $40 plan and now you need the $60 plan.
why do you want to trade in an iPhone 12?
Verizon is taking any phone back to iPhone 3 (according to Costco)
I just trade in my Moto G pure and Samsung A03s (free phones from Cricket couple years ago)

Yes they answered that were talking about the whole year cost, not the price. Got it. I am spoiled by the phone deals you could get unlocked right away (not doable the iPhones).
After just 6 months, Boost Mobile automatically unlocked an iPhone 12 purchased from them for $199 ?
Boost will unlock such Prepaid Devices no later than one (1) year after initial activation
Account must be active: If your account is in "suspended" status one-year post initial activation, your Prepaid Device will not be eligible for unlocking until it is out of "suspended" status.

Did you have to give them any specific justification or reason while requesting an unlock before the usual time frame of a year?
Any insights into your conversation with them is appreciated …
