"In the 1st year of the warranty, panel, parts and labor costs are covered. In the 2nd-5th year of the warranty, only panels are covered, and labor will be charged." From LG website.

Please explain.

Edit: Just read that the 83" doesn't feature the MLA technology introduced on the other sizes. What a shame.

still seems too much, in my opinion, when qd oled 65 is $1600.
QD-OLED has a chronical disadvantage on high reflection. QDs will glow when the room is not dark. The contrast ratio will be affected.

they get reviewed as great at handling reflections, but I do notice if lightbulbs are showing on the screen they have a color to them whereas they ae more their real natural color on some other tvs I've had.

I wish the Sony A95L would come down like this, I think it's the best and a good blend of what LG and Samsung have to offer

Does the G3 come with a tv stand or not? Pictures show it then one section says yes its included and another says sold separately.
Comes with a wall mount but you have to supply your own table stand. You don't have to use the LG one

I shouldn't use "reflection". It is more like excitation from external light (ambient). The black will be brighter in QDOLED if the room is not dark enough.

I have a fairly bright living room. Is the G3 much better than a C3?

I was wondering about that because I had seen RTINGSA reviews mention it, but they were confusing on it because all black levels are technically higher when there is light in the room, but I guess they just mean it's more noticeable.

I do always have low light or no light, though. I watched Halloween on the qd oled tonight, first time watching a movie on it, and it was not even a 4k disc and it stunned me as so many scenes looked much better than I've ever seen them. But I have not watched it on a g2 or g3, of course.

The G series stands for gallery series. The point is to hang it on the wall and have it only stick out an inch. Putting it on a stand defeats the purpose.
