LG is the best TV brand.
Fight me.
My own experiences tell me not to touch another LG. The last 2 LG LED TVs died roughly around 4-5 years. One wouldn't power on and another had a blank screen. I passed on a 50 or 52 inch Sony bought over 14 years ago to MIL and she's still using it daily. I am still using a 60 inch Sony bought from the Frys days and the Sony 75" from the Amazon fiasco from a local guy several years ago. Whatever parts that Sony put in their TVs that just don't break.

Not sure it's a big deal since you can get an aftermarket tuner that will work for cheap that supports the standard. Also the rollout for this has been Terrible!
It's a big deal to me. I've gone the HDHomeRun route. Built-in is the way to go.

The rollout has been poor where I live, as well, and I don't think the implementation of ATSC 3.0 on my Sony is particularly good. It will improve with time.

They don't work. Watch the Antenna Guy on YouTube
I have watched him! The future boxes will work and they will solve the encryption issues.

Nope. Get the Sony or the G3 if you want that built in.
No need to pay 1000$ more for a 30 dollar addition from amazon

Ugh sooo close. Under $1500 is my self imposed trigger pull on this. If I could get an 83 for this price I'd be ecstatic. This past year of price volatility on LGs has me traumatized lol. I'm so torn between waiting for price drops but grabbing something before they all sell out like the C2 series.

I got it at $2k, so definitely recommend it at $203 cheaper!

The Sony A80L isn't 1000 more and the G3 is in a different class entirely so not a fair comparison. You pay more for the PQ and processing improvements those two offer. The B3 is a great deal though if wanting good performance for less. It's only slightly more than a mid grade LCD so that's kind of what it is competing with.

Speaking of which the X90L has ATSC 3.0.

Anyone thinking about this vs the Hisense U75K, which will be $900 at Costco in a couple of weeks. I know this TV is better, but is it TWICE as good? 5 year vs 3 year warranty does have me maybe considering this one.
Source for the Hisense U75K for $900 in a few weeks?

Is that with the employer pricing? You put in your work email and LG gave the special pricing?

If you are Costco member, look at buying from there since you get total of 5-yr warranty.
Costco supposedly has 30 day price protection as well from the associate i spoke with today.

I think this is the best TV for the price in the 75-77" space. Pulling the trigger from Costco

Costco allstate warranty specifically excludes burn in. Only Best Buy warranty covers it, hence why its way more expensive. OLEDs suck.
Associate says this isn't an issue anymore with the current Gen,
