That happens automatically using Optimus in all laptops with nvidia dedicated card. If you want any applications to always use dedicated or integrated GPU, you can configure that in Nvidia Control Panel.

As someone stated, there are cheaper options for those who do not need OLED.

I had bought this back in May/June open box for $720. The biggest drawback is the screen the colors are just super saturated and no matter what settings the yellows look orgaene and orange looks red. Doesn't charge through the USB -C and uses a barrel type charger, the battery life is also not that great, I would say it's meh for the price would be slick at $600!

Is this the best deal out there or wait till black Friday. I really need a new computer that can handle big data modeling applications while on teams meetings without lagging

If you don't need the oled display then there are deals with better specs than this

Seriously these photos of the laptop are misleading especially the one for the front of the base lip. Its not remotely that thin, they must cut off %70 of the thickness or cropped of the bottom of the photo.

I like the idea of a 600 nits screen. I work outside a lot and can never see my laptop screen well without squinting. I wonder if the 600 nits setting can be turned on at will? Similar to the Samsung laptops with their outdoor mode.
