So, you're getting 60% off the inflated prices, PLUS the Uber fee, plus delivery fee, plus driver tip. (no delivery fee, and reduced Uber fee if you're paying for Uber+.)
So, basically, you're maybe getting a little bit off the sale prices.

Take another look the discounted prices are lower than any retail or online distributor for the size sold. Seems like you are making a generic blanket statement which is mostly true except in this case
I added 10 bags of Reese's to my cart that normally retail for $6 each, but were on sale in the store for $4. With the 60% off, it came to $24. But once you added the $9, (!) service fee, the $5 delivery fee, and the lowest tip they allow of 10% of the full total, or $7.38, the total comes to over $45. In the store, it would have been $40.
Even if I had Uber One, that would save me $6.20, or $1 less than the store price. Admittedly, that includes a tip, but even if I left no tip (which i'd NEVER do!,) it would be only $2 less than the store price, without Uber One (which is a crazy $10 per month!) And if you're in a state that taxes candy, you'll be paying even more, since they base the tax on the full price, as well - which is illegal in most states!
Never mind the fact that most stores around me are out of most holiday candy at this point, so you'd have to go into the store to find out what you can actually buy anyways, which completely defeats the purpose of delivery - and tipping on that delivery! Because if you don't go into the store and you end up ordering something that's sold out, you can be sure that they'll still charge you the insanely high service charge (and tip) based on the original total! You could easily end up paying $20-30 and getting nothing at all!
