If I want to just clean the ocasional leaves from my garage and patio should I go all out with this? Or just get an Ego 530 or 615 cfm used kit from Facebook for $100?

Why buy this over the Milwaukee blower that came with 2 5.0ah XC battery pack and charger for $199.99?

I was really "blown" away when I tried this out ar a friend's house, but gosh darn the it's HEAVY for me normal dad size. I was expecting like 5lbs but it was just as heavy as my gas ryobi.

I have the 530 CFM version of this, along with two 2.5Ah batteries, which I think is more practical than one 5Ah heavy battery. This thing is heavy enough with the 2.5, I can't imagine having to hold it for any length of time with the heavier battery. I'd rather have two of the smaller, lighter batteries and swap them out as needed. As far as the tool itself is concerned, 530 CFM is more than enough for anything I've had to blow. On turbo, it blows the landscaping rocks around in my front yard, so I can't use turbo very often. I also have the EGO hedge trimmer, which works great too, and lasts seemingly forever even with the 2.5 battery. No complaints here about quality or value.

Am I the only one that doesn't think this is too heavy? Don't get me wrong, it's not light...but I don't think I've ever been using it and thought "this is too heavy, I can't keep going". I'm fine even holding it over the fence and walking along to push the leaves back in my yard before mulching
I was wondering about the weight after seeing the too heavy comments. I currently use my 530cfm blower with the 10Ah battery. Is the blower itself that much heavier?

Milwaukee 450 CFM vs Ego 765 CFM, I have the Milwaukee and it has a challenge blowing wet leaves. It will come down to the user's need. I bought the Ego one model lower and thinking of getting this one and I can always use an extra battery for the snow blower.

Upgraded from 530 to this for 289 or so, and it is much stronger than my echo 2 stroke. Yes it weighs more but mostly its the battery. I wont go back to gas blowers as these egos are excellent, but trimmers are just OK, and mowers are not up to thick wet st augustine. FYI, the 530 runs much stronger on the 5 amp battery, so you may look at the generic 5a on amz that run $130 or so as an upgrade to an older model...

You would be fine with the lower models, but I would worry about the used battery. My 530 from several years ago came with a 2 amp that crapped out on me after 3 years. I got a factory refurb edger and that battery drained quick from get go. I suggest waiting for a lower model to go on sale - they are just as good as my old gas echo...

I tried to do the same thing but Lowe's chat denied the price match because the Amazon website says "Deal".
Don't use chat. Chat wasn't helpful to me. Call them as they can price match and adjust order price after the order was placed which is what you need for cashback to hit. Chat only wanted to place the order for me which doesn't help.

I have the Milwaukee, how is this weight vs Milwaukee on 5.0 batteries? The weight from the ego sounds like a turnoff even though I know it's more amazing at drying a car. I wouldn't mind a strong blower but it's $170 more than my waukee so making sure it's worth getting a diff system just for a blower. My car isn't ceramic coated so I don't know if it would be much more effective than m18 blower
