Merchants provide the transaction date, which may be on or after the date you authorized the transaction, and before the date the transaction posts to your account. OnMore Rewards Day, Bank of America consumer and small business credit cardholders with rewards cards will automatically earn bonus rewards of 2% cash back, two points per $1, or two miles per $1 spent on top of the rewards they typically earn. Credit cardholders who do not have a rewards product will earn bonus rewards through a statement credit equal to two percent cash back, on the first $2,500 in purchases made on November 9, 2023, per each unique account or each unique small business company. Bonus rewards will be automatically applied to their account, without the need to enroll.1

I'm planning to use my Unlimited Cash rewards card to hopefully prepay rent and bills. The base 1.5% + 2% = 3.5% back maxes at $50. I calculated it and with this card you can spend up to $1428.5 to get the max $50.
The Customized Cash rewards card with the base 3% + 2% = 5% back on online shopping is solid too. I'd use it to buy pricey electronics or appliances/furniture. You can spend up to $1k to get the max $50.
This quarter Chase Freedom has 5% back on PayPal and wholesale club purchases up to $1.5k/max $75 back but this is a good alternative for stores that don't accept PayPal like Amazon or Woot.

The 2% back itself is up to $50, not including other cash backs. And also, if you pay your rent online, the customized cash back will count it as an online purchase.

The way I read it, posting date does not matter unless it's over 90 days. The transaction date requirement is the important date.
The posting date is important if: Merchants can impact when a transaction will appear on your statement if they delay processing of the purchase. Transactions with delayed processing of 90 days or more will not be eligible to be included in the promotional offer.
Otherwise, the only part you can control is by making the transaction as early as possible 11/9/2023 ET to allow the merchant as much time as possible to process it. (unless you have the unusual leverage over your merchant to make them process it at your command)
