to some, this wouldn't be an upgrade to yours. 170 vs 144hz is probably not even noticeable. I can't even tell 144hz vs 120hz

Would have preferred higher than 250 nits brightness.

Agree. Do people not know how dim this display is?

And $145 is not a great deal. You will be able to get a 350 to 400 nit, 160-225hz, IPS display for the same price this holiday easy. (Not even a doorbuster deal)

It's 145 and it's from Walmart. Don't like it, return it. Honesty, it's a good deal. If been looking around lately.. you have until January to return. Just saying cuz you are paying for what you get. It's not going to be that "last monitor" you'd ever buy. It's a level entry gaming monitor.

250. It's on the dimmer side.

Depends 4k is likely 75hz top. Both monitors have their traits

Can anyone tell me if there's a benefit with this over the Acer Nitro below for $179? A lot of people seem to agree that this one's a good deal so I'm thinking there must be something negative about the larger one?

Okay, I'm going to say something silly, but I am a casual PC gamer (Diablo 3/4, WoW, etc) who has been using a 27" HP 2711x (1080p 60Hz panel) for a long time. I'm looking to upgrade to something better for cheap and it seems like this is a good deal. Is there a reason this wouldn't be a major upgrade from what I was using? Is there something better for ~$200 or less? Thanks SD!
