I'm not sure if this was a serious question... But yes, it can cut baseboards, and really anything else (plastic, metal, wood, etc.) even with the wrong blade it will still work through the material you're cutting. But the right blade makes the best/easiest cuts

That's a nice price for the full kit. If I hadn't landed one of these as part of a 5-tool kit, I'd buy.

Thats a good price, but since i am not doing a lot of DIY home improvements. What can this thing do outside of cutting the drywall? Can it cut the baseboard too?

it can cut almost anything you can think of with the proper blade. It even has a sanding attachment from what I can see in the picture.

Well, you won't see a contractor walking around with any skill tools. You can get the atomic 20 V max Dewalt oscillating tool and half-inch drill combo for 150 bucks. Even if you have a drill and it's not really that great or it is a skill I would spend my money and get that at Home Depot on sale right now. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWAL...YWJuSJwx00

Thanks for the input. The reason i asked is because i already got a reciprocating saw so i dont know if i should get this for some random jobs. Sure this thing can cut a hole on drywall which i could not do with the saw

You absolutely could cut drywall with a reciprocating saw, but the easiest way is with a razor blade. In any case, this type of tool can be much more useful than an other saw you (or I) have. It's very versatile, can fit in tight spots, etc. Definitely one of a handymans best friends.

Wow, is DeWalt considered that bad these days?

Really. You are comparing it to a tool that cost 3X as much? For DIY, this will probably work just fine.
