That Lowes deal for the Skil stuff was so good. I got so many tools. I already had 12v skill stuff so I got like 1 set of extras of everything and got full sets of stuff for a few people as gifts.
I would not hesitate to buy from them at all if they have something I want
having said that. The battery that comes with this deal is the older style. Charging requires the proprietary charger, and battery only have USB-A output (in addition to powering PWRCore 12 tools). There is a newer style battery that has a bi-directional USB-C port instead, capable of delivering up to 60watts through USB-C Power Delivery. The newer battery still can be charged through the proprietary charger, and still supports PWRJump charging (0-25% battery in 5 minutes, meant for you to finish your task at hand). With the USB-C charging port, it's just a more flexible battery.
If you don't have the PWRJump charger yet, then this deal is fine, just so you can get the PWRJump charger. But if you already have that charger, then you should try to wait for a bundle/deal with the new battery, and buy other tools as a bare tool. (As a reference, this tool, with all the attachments, but without battery and charger, was on sale at Lowes for $20 through most of November and December 2025)
