in past yes past this deal could have been had for as low as $40.
in store with port.
a few folks got that price
i did similar. (less than 100 in CA..in store. with port)
at that time, all stars lined up.
$40 plan.
no tax (in some states....~$59 tax in CA)
$0 activation fee.
pointless to discuss the past.
so...until some one can confirm the deal today

bought 1 today. in store.
number ported in from V
(bought from ebay minutes before going to m store for ~$12).
$40 plan
$59.28 tax
$0.25 bag fee (sneaked that in)
total=$99.53 (paid by cash)
did ask for id. but i told then wallet/phone stolen.
and no id requited for s23fe. id required only for iphone
did not give me sim. used esim
i was gonna do another, but i think 1 is enuff.
may try to buy online at 150 if they come back.
