In case another good iphone 15 deals comes up, can we return - does RP accept return - what is their return policy on device?
Any one had bad experience in returning?
- They require autopay for this deal. One of my rebate was denied because they claimed that autopay for one of the months didn't go through. I found out that my bank marked this as suspicious and denied autopay. Red pocket did not care that it wasn't my fault and still denied rebate.
- Few months into the service I started having a lot of issues with the service. No signal, dropped calls etc. I told them and they just kept doing troubleshooting. They would not let me change to AT&T (GSMA). I begged them to unlock my phone so at least I can add another line. They wouldn't do it even though I said that I am willing to make full year of payment in advance.
- Just a week before my unlock date was supposed to kick in. I had to make trip to Europe. I wouldn't be able to use this phone there and I requested that they unlock my phone as a courtesy since I had just a week left and I had already made my final month of payment. They did not care. I had to buy a new phone just for my week long Europe trip.
- My rebate never came through. I had to call them up twice for it to be sent.
Moral of the story: Redpocket customer service is trash. Never again. Also never buying a locked phone.
