NO and YES.

NO:
CPU, hard drive, etc, glass, screen etc... are all not as good as the S8 or S7. This is a BIG BOY... so you need to compare it to that S8+ or S7+. And while Samsungs are much faster this is fast enough.

YES:
They both run Android 13. Your experience will be similar.

Personally I think the size of the P11 Pro 2nd Gen of 11" is much better suited as a tablet and it has a faster CPU and a OLED screen. But if you like super sized tablets this looks good to me.

p.s.
I have a P11 Pro 2nd Gen, S8+, HP X2 Chrome Book tablet, Fire Tablet, Hauwai M5 and M3.
S8+ or P11 Pro 2nd gen - from a purely screen point of view ? which screen has the wow factor

If it's not an OLED panel, then get an older iPad instead. Android is still a messy lagfest with zero tablet supported apps. Even YouTube is buggy as hell on an android tablet. The only reason to go Android in a tablet is for the OLED. Otherwise stay away.
this guy knows.. look.. he has the badge of shame "Sent from the official Slickdeals App for Android." so you know he knows lmfao LMAO
poor guy is too poor to buy the iphone 15pm

I own the p11 pro gen 2 and I love this tablet. I picked mine up recently for 175 on eBay so I am going to wait for the next gen.

If this is OLED Screen it's worth this price all
Day long and the pen is 100 dollars by itself !!
I have it too and came here to say exactly this!

This is tempting. I regret returning the P11 Pro Gen 2 I picked up for $215 a year ago. Reason being it had only 4GB of RAM and I was hoping the 6GB version would go on sale. But there hasn't been any good discounts ever since then. The tablet was otherwise fantastic for the money. The 120Hz OLED screen alone made it worth it. The 60Hz IPS screen on this P12 is the only thing that's keeping me from pulling the trigger. Also Lenovo seems to be bad with software updates, so I probably wouldn't pick up a P11 Pro Gen 2 if it went on sale today because it seems to be EOL (or nearing EOL) already.

The other advantage the p11 pro has over the p12 is the 120hz screen on the p11 while the p12 is 60 hz, I'm not sure honestly I notice but I'm sure some people would.
if you use the pen it's noticeable. there's a lag in the 60 hz

Both oled.... u need to see which ones does hdr+, Dolby vision and see o e is more dominante.... THE BIG DIFFERENCE is 11.2"vs12.4".
I will also say... I purchased the TAB 8+ for myself before the p11 even existed.... i then got the p11 pro for my kid. But my point is I would have purchased 2 p11 pro and save myself alot of money. I am dealing with this big screen but I think the sweat spot is 11 inches.... my opinion.

I meant to add that I almost never use the pen and I put all our tablets in foam drop proof cases.

I tried on 2 computers and a different browser. And 3 different cards, plus Amazon Pay and Paypal.

I guess I could try using my wife's account.
Try chatting with customer service. I had to purchase through them because of an issue with the coupons.

LOVE MY MMACHINE.Like do younreslly need more ram? Sure it would be nice but doesn't change the performance to much.

BUT YES!!! that was the best tablet deal in the last year bar none.... price and performance taken into consideration but the performance was decent.

I hope it goes on sale this black Friday

I am also a big fan of chromebook tablets. You just need to learn chrome and it's easy. and it comes with android playstore. Chrome OS is considered the safest in the world and you get monthly updates for like 8 years.

I personally prefer android only because I side load apps and I play call of duty. But I would only recommend chrome tablets for my wife, she is not a gamer and she would never side load apps.

The SoC in this tablet does not support AV1 hardware decoding that I can find. This means that video streaming sites (especially YouTube) are eventually going to force this device to software decode video, which is gonna suck. My HP laptop with an AMD Ryzen 4500u cannot watch anything above 1080p without dropping frames and stuttering, and that is far more powerful than this in every other way.

Not the end of the world, but it will probably get annoying.
It does support AV1 Decoding and ARM based DOCs are supporting that for a very long time and that information is available in their official site, ARM's official page for Mali G68.
Don't make up stuffs which you have no clues about.

From purely screen, the S8+ is likely better. Samsung makes very good OLED displays, and not every OLED is equally good.

That said, I haven't seen the P11 Pro myself, so take that with a grain of salt.

I have had both p11 pro Gen 2 much better screen. Samsung S8 plus has dark HDR with no Dolby vision. P11 pro Gen 2 supports Dolby vision. No contest p11 pro Gen 2 is a better display

Tonight, I placed this Lenovo Tab P12 and Samsung Tab S9 next to each other for some HD and 4K videos from youtube. They're very much the same except on Samsung Tab S9, I could set the screen brightness to higher. At the same level of brightness, this Lenovo Tab P12 is not different.

To make the screen more sensitive and quicker S-Pen, you can set the pointer under input-device to >75 to see the different. This Lenovo Tab P12 even has more functions in the setting than Smsung Tab S9.
