This unit has good reviews. It's not for hanging drywall or big HD jobs. The moveable head can make it a knucke saver when trying to get to those hidden screws. More of a convenience than a must have, but what the heck, 20 bucks to make your life easier is a no brainer for me. In for one. Thanks to the OP.
Great price. Be aware virtually no bits, for me that's fine, I have a good stock from previous deals posted here on SD. SD is a good place to find deals on those bits if you don't mind waiting for those to be posted. This replaces an old B&D screwdriver my GF had, battery finally gave it up and a replaccement is more than a new unit.

pivot head function is definitely a plus. I have been using my non-powered pivot head skil screwdriver more often than any other high end screwdrivers.

Grabbed from Lowes for $20. Haven't used it yet. Only complaint I have is that the bit can't be stored on the driver. It's always more convenient when both are on the unit.

We don't want it to be any thicker or suffer ergonomically due to that. Maybe there isn't enough room in shell for bit holder. So I don't mind that

BTW, anyone know the battery Ah?

I assume you don't have bits? This takes std 1/4" hex bits. For the extra $15‐$20 you can grab some of the much larger dewalt/milwaukee bits posted here.

I really like the old version, which has a voltage tester and twist control instead of button. The new one seems no voltage tester...

Most of the 3 star reviews you are referring to are for the 45 pc set. That is a different screwdriver. Based on the photos and videos, the 2 pc set is a different design with torque control and push button switch.
