Finally pulled the trigger for the Aeron Gaming Chair, c1 has 4% back and also found a coupon "HAL" to save an additional $49. Total came out to be $1,465.43 after tax, supposedly will get around $60 back.

Was tough deciding between the Aeron and the Embody. I like the look of the Embody at home but the Aeron did feel more comfortable. I went to a local office furniture liquidation store to try them out. There were a lot more Aeron than Embody though, so not sure if the only one Embody they had may just not be configured right. I am just more sure about the Aeron for work.

Is this type of sale a once a year thing for HM? I want one of these, but want to go to a showroom a couple states over and try it out before I buy. Don't think I can get it this time around.

C1 has 2% back. And I signed up for an account when I bought my Aeron a few days ago and they sent me a coupon code for an additional 5% off. Wish I waited for the coupon code to get another $60+ off my Aeron.😭

I've been going back and forth between an Embody and Haworth Fern for about 6 months. During that time each one has run a sale 2 to 3 times. Looks like any major holiday gets some type of sale. Steelcase is the only one that I haven't seen run a sale during that time. Apparently I live in a bad area for chairs except for the aerons. Very few embodys and no ferns, at least not at a liquidation place. I don't feel right contacting a person and pretending to be interested in their chair just so I can sit in it and see how it feels.

I'm only 6' and I think the back is a little small and the not-adjustable-in-height lumbar support is a bit annoying at times. It works fine. But I have to lean into the back to actually make use of it. And when I do it works fine! But sometimes I need to sit up and focus.
