Nevermind, this is only 3440x1440. Pretty weak for this size.
I was considering this monitor but after seeing it at best buy I decided to get the c3 42 instead.

3 main issues with this monitor.

1. Low pixel density (it looked fuzzy)
2. Matte finish
3. Resolution scales poorly. You need at least a 3080 12gb to drive this because turning down the resolution to gain performance isn't really an option. 1080p UW at this size will look terrible.

G9 just bricked out on me after 2 years… a lot of QC problems with this monitor, so do your research…

I have an ultrawide 34inch 1440x1440 resolution. This is 45 inches at 3440x1440 also. I'm not sure about the exact DPI but a quick google search I found a thread about this monitor and confirmed my suspicion the pixel density is gonna be low. Personally at this size I'd want more resolution to keep the sharpness.

I'm pretty used to it after using it the past couple of weeks. I'm loving the size for gaming and coming from my 2017 acer predator x34.

I've been researching Lg Oled displays to replace my 34" ips ultrawide. The C3 42" is the better buy IMO. Sales pricing is about the same, has 4k 120hz and better HDR. The curve is a gimmic, and this is only 1440p. Only advantage is the 240hz, and for most people 120hz is all you need.

I got this display a bit ago (asking for a price match now) and although the resolution is not as crisp as a "retina display" the dimensions of the display are perfect and you get used to it.

Agree. At this size, 1440 is not going to cut it.

Anyone know if a good 34" 1440 alternative and has HDR?

A lot.
For example I don't use any stand alone GPU. Doesn't make any sense to me since I don't play games or train AI models. But I need 49" monitors for multitask.

Is this a serious question? So many monitors are priced much higher depending on the size and features.
