Good deal. I picked up this last year (or 2 years ago?) on the holiday and did the hack. Love the barrel grip! Sold the D-handle to a buddy for a loss but don't regret it one bit.
Soon there will be people coming along whining about the lack of a VS trigger. Nope. Barrel drip doesn't have or need one for a reason. These saws are about precision. You set the speed and then concentrate on the cut. It's hard to get an accurate cut if you have to hold the saw and control the trigger squeeze.
I just did the other jigsaw with 6ah and 4am last week, wish i would have gotten this one. I prefer the 5ah batteries over 6ah and was wanting to try the barrel style. good deal.

For the love of god, I hope Blackrock doesn't own Dewalt as well. If so, we are all so totally f***...we will have to self-check the quality and durability of the component constantly, which is going to be a huge nuisance

Good deal, but if you cross check the Amazon pricing you can see that all you're getting out of this is a free 4mA battery. Still a good deal but not the 50% discount they advertise.

These are 5AH batteries. Bare tool at Amazon has been at $149 for a couple of months. So two 5AH batteries for $50. Or call it $100 for the jigsaw and $50 each for the batteries. No charger or bag, but I'm to the point where I don't need more of either.

Not familiar with the hack does that work and how would one do it?
I thought the hack was only when they run the "add free tool"
