Important to note that if you choose reloadable card instead of debit or credit, you must spend $50 first before you get a $50 credit.

Lots of exclusions, but you could use the coupon to buy groceries and then use the $50 you would have spent on groceries to buy the item you want

If this is a coupon like last time, you could double dip by using it in store while checking out online right after you check out.

Sounds like it's the best we're going to get from target at this point...real shame they got rid of double dipping.

You have 45 days to spend $50 over a number of transactions.
Wrong, this is a one time use coupon.

I am talking about the reloadable card, specifically. Credit/Debit cards are different. So we are both right Smilie

Once you spend $50 in those 45 days, you then receive the $50.

Does anyone know do you have to wait to get the reloadable card in physical form before you can make a purchase to get the $50 credit?
Yes, it says in the terms that you must wait for the physical card to arrive so you can activate it first before you make the $50 purchase.

"To receive a $50 statement credit for the RedCard Reloadable Account, you must successfully register online at redcardreloadable.com for a new account between October 29-December 9, 2023, then activate the permanent card once received in the mail and spend $50 (net of reversals/returns) at Target ("$50 transaction") within 45 days of registration (Note: purchases made with a virtual temporary card will not qualify). The statement credit will be posted to the account within 30 days of the $50 transaction. The $50 transaction must occur in one transaction at a Target location or at target.com; if you get cash back at the register during your purchase, the transaction will not qualify for this promotion. Limit one (1) acquisition credit per guest in their lifetime. Offer does not apply to RedCard Credit or Debit products and is subject to change or cancellation at any time."

My credit score is 767. I lose a couple points but they come back in a month or 2. Most of my credit accounts are 10+ years old, I'm not really worried about this silly little inquiry. I'm certainly not financing anything big any time soon
Exactly. If you're concerned about your credit dropping just a few points, I think you might have more concerning issues to worry about.

Anyone else still waiting for their card to come in the mail? I applied and was approved on the 4th and received confirmation from Target on the 4th and nothing yet in the mail.

Hmm, seems to contradict itself in that statement.

This looks like spending $50 over the 45 day period
"spend $50 (net of reversals/returns) at Target ("$50 transaction") within 45 days of registration"

This suggests it must be $50 in one transaction:
"The $50 transaction must occur in one transaction at a Target location or at target.com"

So, I assume it is the latter, not the former?

Agree, credit scores are really overrated for the most part. A few point drop won't do anything for 95% of people.

If you did not receive your coupon with the debit or credit card you can call 1-800-424-6888 and they will send you one. Mine did not come with the card

Someone said it doesn't work anymore. It used to be that you go to the store and get ready to check out. Also prep an order online with the code. First check out in the store and use the coupon. Then check out immediately online with the code.

Since they give you 5% off using your red card, you need to spend at least $53 to get this one-time purchase over $50 after the 5% discount. Otherwise, it doesn't count.
