This is what I get too. This seems pretty good for $200 off and $150 off AppleCare so a total of $350 off. Am I missing something?
Nope that's what I have as well. Seems like a great deal.

I get the $1799 price when logged in, all the way through checkout. AppleCare is a waste for me. Been buying Macs since 2009 and have never filed a warranty claim or had a failure — and I'm not careless with my expensive toys. Besides, my CC will give me an extra year warranty anyway.

Is Adorama Apple authorized retailer ? Or Apple doesn't care when it comes to warranty?

Wonder if this will have the nerfed ssd speed since it is only 512GB.
ya wait for review first, can't trust apple for anything. they already nerfed memory bandwidth to be lower than that of M1 Pro and M2 Pro, now sitting at only 150Gb/s, it was 200Gb/s.

Great deal, but honestly, can't see any reason to upgrade form my MacBook pro 14 M1 Pro/16GB/512GB. Never even come close to bogging this laptop down (typing on it now). I'd say anyone jumping on one of these M3 Pro machines probably has a great laptop for a good 5+ years if they're computing needs aren't crazy.

Considering how much RAM is available for laptop these days and how fast SSDs have become, a lot of people are trying to find an excuse, any excuse, to upgrade from their old computers. I have a 2018 Lenovo Thinkpad that I want to upgrade from but it's still so fast that I can't justify it. Even the fastest laptops today wouldn't impress me unless I'm doing some serious computational work. Computers these days are just too good.

These are supposed to have 2 chips this time but we will see. Also this has one less Performance Core and One more Efficiency Core than the previous M2 Pro also the memory bandwidth is slower. But you gain ray tracing and AV1 decoding so it's a mixed downgrade and upgrade from the M2. Test should be coming tomorrow after the embargo lifts. So order and can always cancel if the reviews are lack luster. I personally am keeping my M1 Pro 1TB deal from last week's post and waiting for about 6 months and picking up a Refurbished M3 Max when they hit the stock piles. Cheers!
