Note that this is the vacuum only, does not include the self-emptying dock which is pretty standard by this point, and really necessary for these ones that have tiny canisters to make space for the mop reservoir.

I have this exact same model. The water resvoir is pretty small since it shares a space with the waste bin. On a 1300SqFt home, using standard water setting, about 80% of the water get used up during cleaning. When it's done, I usually empty out the waste and refill the water while i clean the mop pad. No pets. Gotta do all 3 every full clean. If you have the model with the self emptying waste and auto refill tank, you'd still have to change or clean the mop pads every full clean.

You'll have to refill the water reservoir and change the mop pad anyway.

This is best one for simple mopping but high suction for floor and carpet. The one with self empty dock is 499$ everywhere. Have amex 50$ off 250$ in Lowe's can use two cards and get it down to 400$ waiting for black friday. I don't know if I can buy the dock seperately

I have the S7 and LOVE it! As a former carpet cleaning business owner I can't believe how well this vacuums carpet. I always run a double pass and it does great. I have a balance of laminate and carpet and it does well on both. Highly recommend Roborock products!

Which roborock should I be stalking if I just want good suction, navigation, and self emptying vacuuming for a small apartment? I'm moving into a place with less than 700 sqft of brand new lvp. I don't need or want mopping to be done by my robovac friend. I just want a clumsy pet robot to bumble around and vacuum and empty and charge itself. No kids. No pets. No carpet. No levels. Maybe a small area rug. I don't want to spend 600+ dollars, but I don't want to have to pick this thing up every day to return it to a charging base or to empty it out. Thanks!
