i have two deices added for $49 in the noon without plan...now it is forcing me to create account...thinkkning what to do......two phones without plan in the cart now.....

should i create and place order or should I ignore since they are forcing to create account

What? You added two to your cart in the morning but did not checkout? That is just silly. What is the harm in creating account?

I ordered 5 phones without any plans from ST. I was a former customer, and I used the old account login information to place the order. I was planning to port all 5 lines back from T-Mobile but was trying to complete the transaction, therefore I did not pick the plan or the port information.
The order was canceled. When I called to inquire, I was transferred a few times and got the "Warehouse Manager". She admitted nothing was wrong with my order or credit card, but it was canceled because they only had enough phones to fulfill the first 7 orders. She did not specify how many phones were in those 7 orders but did say my order was the 10th one, therefore it was not fulfilled. She was nice enough to call to check the "pickers" and see if they had any phones available, unfortunately, there weren't any available. Good luck to all those who got this deal from ST, very slick indeed!

PS, my order time was 10:17 AM EST, and the status was "Pending Payment Approval" for the whole time until it was canceled.
laugh out loud Sounds like something a metro rep would say.

it will still unlock without the sim in it.
Using the TF sim could affect the unlock because it's linked to original phone it was activated with. It's not recommended to swap sims - even after unlock.
Once the ST phone is unlocked then you can activate it on TF using the TF number - may require a new BYOP sim.

tracfone works with esim on this.
so if my phone magically gets shipped from ST, I do not need to activate with ST sim and instead esim activate with cheaper $10 TF plan and it will still unlock in 60 days? I am flying international in 4 days and will be keeping the phone in India, hoping it still unlocks on wifi (ST SIM will remain inisde and TF activation on esim in US). TIA

Is this confirmed? I saw many posts suggesting with activate on esim using cheaper $10 TF plan, keep ST SIM inside phone and it will still unlock after 60 days?

May work with ST but there have been lots of issues activating esim SE3 with TF, be prepared.
I can confirm ST SE3 activated on TF as a TF with original sim will auto unlock in 60 days - mine did in late August.

I just need the phone unlocked as buying for international use for relative. So need the cheapest activation here that allows unlock and dont care about network connectivity in US.

I placed two orders earlier today. My first order with the phone and $35 plan has not shipped yet. Surprisingly, my second order with only the phone has shipped. What is the least expensive way to activate my phone only order?

If you just bought phone without plan then activating on Tracfone is cheaper.

Where? Just checked Walmart and ST and both show OOS with no pickup or delivery.
It was directly on ST's website. There was like a 30 minute window late this afternoon where they were accepting orders again.

Did they ask for email? And make you activate on the spot? It is regular WM CSR or one of the wireless vendor CSR?

No email.

They activated it there.

It was a ST "activation" specialist. The WM CSR could not do it because it required clickety clakking on the ST keyboard setup. In my store, phone activations have a separate desk from regular check out.
