Got my order for 2 phones delivered today, and got them both activated to start the countdown clock on the unlock. For anyone who bought one just to activate for the one-month plan you purchased and unlock, the easiest way is the automated phone service (the online process wasn't working for me):

1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.

When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:

1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
So no luck at Tega Cay, SC Walmart. They did have at least 2 in stock. The guy was nice looking into it for 30 mins or so. He finally found out the Walmart had to have the WARP system for in-store phone activation so call up or local Walmart to ask if they have that. He mentioned the store in Rock Hill, SC on Dave Wylie had the WARP system.

I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.
Yes done it three times now. Use it a few times with the straighttalk network for a few days first though. Text, call, browse then 61 days later unlocked.

Yes on ST.com. It now shows a price of $149, but states in the description:
"$49 promo price reflected at checkout with qualifying plan purchase."
Thank you. Yes I was able to order one.

Requires Silver Unlimited for me and no PayPal option. So weird.
on straighttalk.com my cart shows $97.95 incl tax for the silver $45/mo plan. Free ship. Paypal is an option. So less than an $8 difference if you take into account Walmart tax. Is there any reason to do Walmart over ST other than the lower price?

FYI, as of 7:05 a.m. Arizona Time (which is Mountain Standard Time, I believe), the Black iPhone SE 3 looks to be back in stock, on the Straight Talk website.

Instructions clearly say remove plan to get phone for $50. So is that fake news ?
Not sure what went down yesterday but looks like today at least the silver plan is required and no option to remove then plan individually. Total pre-tax is $94

The deal is still on at https://www.straighttalk.com/all-...on-prepaid . I just bought myself another iPhone in the amount of $107.33 in total w/ the inclusion of the $45 "Silver Unlimited" plan, and it was cheaper than buying the phone at Walmart which had included the same plan. They only have the "blueish black" color in stock which didn't matter to me.

Anybody have trouble unlocking their phone? I keep getting stuck at the part where it's asking for a "Plan ID Pin" while attempting to activate the phone both online and while talking to an offshore customer service rep at Straight Talk. When I purchased the $45 plan, it was listed on the receipt, and the phone I was given was accompanied by a small grey envelope with an activation card that included the sim card and instructions w/ steps to follow to activate the phone, nothing else.
I bought 2 at Walmart yesterday - mine would not activate. I called Straight Talk and they basically told me the phones were not in their system - return to the store. I went back to Walmart and was given printout of the plan ID pin and was told it would activate. the phones still would not activate. Went back to Walmart and they called Straight Talk and they are finally activated.
I am uncomfortable that I was given email addresses that were not mine and was never asked for a email address - only my name.

Oh wow, well at Walmart, they did ask me for an email address so I can't speak to that. I plan on calling Walmart today before I clock-in for work this morning to get this debacle resolved. I also just bought another phone directly through Straight Talk's website so I don't end up in this fiasco again. I might get me another 2x phones depending on whether Walmart or Straight Talk keeps tabs as to how many phones a single customer has purchased so far since the start of this promo.

Keep in mind the promo says can't be used with multiline plans. I made two separate orders this morning
The promo discount is working fine ordering two phones/plans in the same order. I was charged the correct amount.

If I get the phone with a one month plan, do not plan to renew the plan after a month, the phone will auto unlock after 60 days?

Looks like they've simplified the color terms on the order page. Supposedly, the "midnight" color of the iPhone SE 3 is actually a very dark shade of blue.

Quote from TechRadar :
"While the product images at the Apple Store (and arguably the name), suggest that the iPhone SE (2022) in Midnight is black, it's actually a very dark navy blue – think of it as somewhere between the iPhone 13's Midnight and the Blue version of that phone.

If you want a black iPhone SE (2022) this is the closest you'll get, with the black front (this is the same for all three color options) complementing the rear."
